Foreword TERMS USED IN THIS FANFIC Royal Court: Formed by the rare pureblood vampires. They were mainly members from the royal family since Roman times. These vampires are rare as vampire hunters hunted many down in the earlier days. They governed the vampire world. Well-known for their cold and heartless measures in attacking their enemies. Pureblood: Most powerful ones in the hierarchy of vampires. They have many powers, much more than the other kinds. Humans can only kill them when the sacred cross made from white ash wood were pierced into their heart.   Mixed-breed: Rare species whom are mainly mixed between pure vampire and pure werewolf. They are not afraid of sunlight or flames, yet their powers were not pure and were slightly below the pureblood. Halfbreed: Most of the vampires now are halfbreed, mainly mixed between a human and a halfbreed vampire. They mostly served the Royal Court. Halfbreed fears the pureblood as they can be easily killed by them with just a fatal bite. Vampire hunters: A group of humans who formed a tribe who vowed to kill all vampires. Has been in centuries of war with them. Their main weapons are the sacred cross which most vampires feared. As for the tribe leader, he has a special sword that was made of a rare metal which was already extinct in the world. It has the capability of killing all kinds of vampires and even a mixed-breed who are not full vampires. Werewolves: Take in the form of human and only transform into werewolf form on every full moon. When they transform, they will lose their minds and becomes destructive, attacking anything, even their own kind. However, experience werewolves are able to control their temper through sleeping through the full moon.  CHARACTERS You: A kind and brave girl. You were bestowed with a gift from heaven – The power of light that cures all wounds (except yourself). You have been under secret protection from the vampire hunters all your life and you did not know of your powers. You were also unaware that your brothers, were actually not your real brothers. Yongguk: A mixed-breed. Was a cold and ruthless vampire knight in the past until he met you.  His mother who was a pureblood princess, died after being executed by the Royal Court for falling in love with their arch enemy (a werewolf). He never got to know who was his werewolf father and was despised by his vampire cousins since young. He then fell in love with you through a mission to capture you. He loved you so much that he was willing to wait for you even for hundreds and hundreds of years. Aurora: Your past life. A brave and gentle woman. You were the daughter of the leader in the vampire hunter tribe. You were also known as ‘Ray of Dawn’ because of your powers. You loved Yongguk very much, even to the extent of running away from the protection of your family only to be with him. Zico: The leader of werewolf tribe. He hated vampires but he was not ruthless. He led the group of werewolves and had endless of fights with the vampires. Zelo: Your best friend who was actually one of the vampire hunters. He always cared for you and secretly protects you. Himchan and Jongup: Your elder ‘brothers’. They were not related to you by blood and were vampire hunters. However, they loved you just like you were their real sister. Actually, they had a sister at first but she and their parents were killed by one of the halfbreed. They vowed to kill the vampire who killed their sister and thus joined the vampire hunters. Nichkhun (Prince Khun): A young pureblood who yearns for sole control over the Royal Court. He is ruthless and was determined to capture you. Your power will allow him to gain the gift of protection from sunlight and endless power. If he sucks on your blood, he will be invincible. Infinite, ZE:A and VIXX: The 3 gangs of halfbreed who served Prince Khun loyally. Beast, BAP and Block B: Werewolves who disguised themselves as humans and lived with them peacefully.
